Fall Semester Program
School Writing Enhancement Program (SWEP)
The ELA(English Language Arts) curriculum in BC has recently undergone and continues to undergo significant changes. These present ongoing challenges to secondary school students in particular. SWEP(School Writing Enhancement Program) is designed to target the new Curricular Competencies that pertain especially to critical engagement and writing tasks in high school English. Students will have the opportunity to practice and get feedback on the kind of work they will be expected to produce. The program is subdivided into areas of concentration such as Composition, Literary Studies, and New Media so students can learn all aspects of the new BC curriculum.
ReadiPrep (Critical Reading & Writing, Gr 8-10)
The SAT Bridge program uses popular and educational literature to develop critical reading, grammar, and writing skills. Students will read novels by writers whose works have appeared on various standardized tests such as SSAT, PSAT, and the SAT Reasoning Test. It offers a monthly practice test and a set of four connected classes taught at a pace more suitable for younger students.
Reading & Writing Plus (Gr 8-12)
aims to develop critical reading and writing skills. This program is designed for the new BC Curriculum and includes various creative projects and oral presentations.
SAT Reasoning Prep (Gr 10-12)
offers students a package of four cohesive classes: Critical Reading, Math, Writing, and Practice Test Sessions. Students meet for 8 hours per week including practice exam is 4 hours.
SSAT Test Prep (Gr 4-11)
The Elite SSAT Prep Course is designed to prepare students for the fall and winter test dates. This program includes a monthly practice test and a set of four classes (Critical Reading, SSAT Vocabulary Analysis, Essay Writing, and Math).
AP Prep
Through Elite AP’s college-level courses, you can earn college credit and advanced placement, stand out in the admission process, and learn from some of the most skilled, dedicated, and inspiring teachers
Calculus AB, BC / Chemistry / Biology / Physics 1, 2 / World History / English Literature / Psychology / Human Geography / Micro, Macro Economics
Intensive Courses (Grammar, Writing, Reading)
Especially designed to facilitate movement into upper levels and SAT classes, as well as to help students improve in their regular school classes.
ACT Test Prep (Gr 10-12)
This course is designed to prepare students for the ACT Test.
IELTS / TOEFL (Gr 5-12)
aims to increase students’ proficiency in academic English rather than concentrate solely on test-taking strategies.
Coding & Web Programming
Elite Coding & Web Programming Learn the basics of the latest technology that are actually used in the field. Through a series of fun hands-on exercises, you will be able to make your own website and learn the foundations of coding and web programming. After completing the course, students will be awarded a certificate will be well-prepared for BC Coding curriculum at high schools, AP Computer Science and eventually for the Canadian Computer Contest and Olympiad.
